This is the Sythetic Winch Rope Retainer. Used to retain the winch rope to the drum of your winch, to avoid putting stress on the retaining bolt, and to allow 6 or more wraps of line around the base of the drum. Whether you are pulling your own line out or your friend, this will prevent the last wrap of the line from coming off of the winch drum. The photo shows the retainer installed in Tan to allow easier visibility, Black is also Available. Made in USA with Cordura Webbing and Gutermann Tera 40 Thread for durability.
